Concept and Colors
In web design, color selection isn’t just aesthetic—it’s a strategic powerhouse. Colors evoke emotions: blues build trust for corporate sites, reds ignite urgency in e-commerce. We draw from color theory—harmonies like complementary (opposites for pop) or analogous (neighbors for calm)—to create visual flow and hierarchy. Accessibility matters too; high contrast ensures readability for all users, per WCAG guidelines. Ultimately, colors align with branding, guiding user journeys and boosting engagement. Choose wisely, and your site doesn’t just look good—it feels right.

Shattered Dreams Project
Shattered Dreams is more than a gaming community — it’s a world of its own. As lifelong gamers and storytellers, we wanted to create a site that captures the eerie magic of the fantasy worlds we grew up on. This project gave us room to flex: the hero section uses immersive visuals, atmospheric effects, and dramatic pacing to pull users in right from the first scroll.
While not a commercial client, Shattered Dreams is a love letter to the type of worldbuilding and user experience that great games — and great design — share in common. It shows what’s possible when interactivity meets creative storytelling.
